While staying in Gent, Blythe and I visited Brugge, Belgium for the day. The train ride from Gent to Brugge is pretty short as the cities are only about 55 km (33 miles) apart.

Brugge is a very charming city with wonderful canals and a great amount of medieval architecture. Renowned for it's chocolate, we took advantage of the many chocolate shops. Brugge is a noticeable touristy city which attracts many British visitors.
