March 22-23, 2006 The first thing that struck me about Amsterdam as we were taxied in by Blythe's Belgian friend, Boris, was the huge parking structure totally devoted to bicycles! It made me feel very intimidated in it's presence. As we were very hungry from our long day's journey from California to Amsterdam, the first thing on the agenda was to get food. Boris took us to a shopping area where we entered a large cafeteria-like food court were we ate.
